HOPE is one of our most precious life-saving thoughts. We have to keep hold of our hope. It means the difference between existing and surviving in today's world of stress and the unknown.
Have you ever lost your hope? As George Weinberg states, "Hope never abandons you; you abandon it." I think this is so very true but sometimes we just feel like everything is going against us so we lose our hope for anything better to happen.
Hope that you could find a job?
Hope that you didn't lose your job?
Hope that you will be able to finish school and get a job?
Hope that you have enough money to pay your bills?
Hope that you have enough money to eat?
Hope that you don't fail in your home business?
Hope that you have enough money to feed your family?
Hope that you have enough money to retire with?
These are very basic, down-to earth hopes that we all have at some time or some point in our life. Today, most of us have these hopes.
Maybe we don't consider some of our thinking as having hope so let's see what the definition of hope is:
Hope is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life. The feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best. To look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence. To believe, desire, or trust.
“Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself... 'How did I get through all of that? ~~ Author Unknown
I watched a video today that Scott Stratten sent out to his subscribers and in it he talks about some of his most gut-wrenching life ordeals and how he got through them. He kept living life by continually telling himself to 'keep going - don't stop.'
"Keep Going - Don't Stop" This takes a wealth of hope.
Interesting way to live your life and I totally agree with him on this. I do this same thing - when things in my life seem to be falling down around me like an avalanche rolling down a mountain - I just keep going. This is the way to get through tough times when everything seems to be going against you. It fits so well in today's turmoil of the unknown.
Do you realize just have much hope you have to have within you to live this way? Actually, not much. It is already there! You just have to keep going, knowing and believing that life will get better.
It also is a tremendous help to you at times to just STOP! Stop going! Think! Test yourself to see where you are in your life. What your life is all about.
Sometimes you have to stop to realize where you are going...
This doesn't mean that you have lost hope. It just means that you have enough hope to stop and evaluate where you are in your life and where you want to be. Hope plays a big part in this evaluation. For without hope there would be no reason to consider how or where your life is.
This is hope:
“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” ~~ Oscar Wilde
Hope requires and demands that we keep going and don't stop except to rest and evaluate!
I hope you realize that HOPE requires action...
"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain." ~~ Hebrews 6:19

Be Sure Before You Quit
Is It Time For You To Move On?
Here is some of the best advice that I have seen concerning quitting MLM, direct marketing, network marketing; which ever name you want to call it.
I have to agree with Eric: never quit this industry, just change companies, if you must.

Dreams Are But Wishes Until You Write Them Down
I read an interesting e-book today by Stan Billue. The title of the e-book is "10 Super Success Secrets of the Mega-Buck Sales Pros". Your first thought running through your head might be that this e-book is just for those people in sales.
Have you seen those commercials on TV that shows a ragged looking, dirty man pushing their cart? Of course, you automatically picture what some call a street bum just too lazy to work so he lives on the street begging for food and/or money. Of course, you are wrong. The next thing you see is this man holding up an FBI badge in front of your face. How wrong you were at your first impression.
The same is true in real life. Our first impression can be so far removed from the truth that we have a hard time accepting the truth. After all, most people get some type of enjoyment out of their negative take on life.
But, not true of Stan's e-book. Sure it was written for sales people but, so the title is right on but the contents within will give you a lot to ponder upon about your own life.
I have used the below quotes so you can really see what I mean.
"Unfortunately, less than 3% of the World’s population can show you at least one well defined, written down Goal. Granted, they may have some floating around in their Head, however until you put it in writing, it’s only a Dream or a Wish. Goals give us a direction and they allow us to live our Lives by design instead of by default. Always remember that if We Fail to Plan, we are Planning on Failing.
Have you received a delivery this month from J.C. Penney? Probably not if you
didn’t order anything from J.C. Penney. It works the same in Life. We have to Order something before we can expect to receive it. Of course, many people don’t set Goals because of the Fear of Failure. My gosh what if you don’t achieve a Goal? Does that mean you are a failure? Absolutely not, in fact just the opposite is true. Let’s analyze that for a few minutes. Let’s say that you’re fairly content with your life and lifestyle and you do try to accomplish just a little bit more and fail. What’s the worst that has just happened? You still end up where you were, which was back with your fairly content life and lifestyle."
I had no intention of reading this whole e-book when I started it. Actually, I went to his website to look at another e-book. But, once I started reading it, I couldn't stop.
I read this part over and over. You see I have goals but I seldom write them down. Sometimes I do, but most often I don't. That's changing.
What about you? Do you leave your goals in your brain where they can get all twisted up with the other stuff you have in there? Where they can be forgotten? Or, do you take the time to actually write them down?
You owe it to yourself and you are worth it to give yourself a chance at fulfilling your dreams. Write your dreams and wishes down so they can become Real.
If you would like to read the whole e-book, you may do so by looking under the "Resources" Page above or you may go to Stan's site at http://www.stanbillue.com
I do suggest that you subscribe to his newsletter.

Resistance is Futile
Resistance to change your life will lead to futility.
"Resistance is the energy that makes up our limiting beliefs and negative emotions and acts as an energetic force field against anything we're trying to make a part of our experience. The tricky part about resistance is that it's often hidden deep within the subconscious, and often we don't even know it's there." ~ Bob Doyle

The tricky part about resistance is that it's often hidden deep within the subconscious, and often we don't even know it's there." ~ Bob Doyle
You may believe that some people have what it takes to accomplish anything they want too and some people just don't have that ability. This is just not true in any sense of the word. You are as good or powerful as anyone else. You have the power within you to do whatever it takes to do whatever you want. To accomplish your life long dreams. Your power is limitless. Believe it!
It is a matter of mind set. It is a matter of how your thought processes work. You and only you have total control over what you think, how you think.
We are so impregnated with negative teachings all through our life that it becomes extremely hard to even recognize this fact. But, it is part of our makeup whether we see it or not.
We become like a taco all wrapped up in all of the negative events occurring around us that we allow these thoughts and events to become a part of us. Unconsciously, yes; or maybe we consciously allow this to happen.
What you need to do to change this is to make a firm decision to change it. Changing your negative thinking is like using a road map. Start at your location and map out where you want to go. Mark every step along the map that you want to change. Be totally honest with yourself. For instance, if you are negatively influenced by the daily news on the TV or in the newspaper or anywhere else, stop watching, listening and reading it.
You may need to do this in a way that is much different from how another person does it. None of us are exactly alike. Thank God. You have to decide how you are going to change your own thinking pattern. Do it and stick with it. Have the grit to move on.
There is ONE thing that you absolutely must sew into your brain's actions to accomplish moving out of your own resistant mind set: gratitude. Be thankful for everything that comes your way. Please don't tell me that this is an impossibility. I know better and I know this because I use this every day and many, many times during the day to accomplish what I want to accomplish. If I didn't use this technique in my life I would certainly have given up on building my own business by now and I would have given up on life itself.
Allow me to tell you a story and I hope that it doesn't turn out to be a novel. I am not accomplishing very much with the company that I am with. Most people would have thrown up their hands, been so frustrated, depressed and felt beaten upon that they would have given up by now and would have moved on to another company. Not me. Why? Because I believe in this company. I have a passion for this company and what I perceive they are trying to achieve. I have a passion for where I want to be and for what I want to accomplish and I firmly believe that I can do this with this company. I am grateful for this company.
Life can suck if we allow it too. You may be as broke as a street person. You may feel broken as a person. You may be out of a job and wondering where in the heck you are going to find a job so you can eat a descent meal or feed your family. Trust me, give thanks for these things and a job will come your way. If you are trying to build your own business be grateful for the guts to try it.
One of the hidden aspects of being grateful for all is that this attitude changes your way of thinking It causes you to act, feel and look at your life differently. You are able to get out and find a good job because you look and feel different about YOURSELF. Employers will sense that you are different and be willing to take a chance with hiring you. Your efforts in building your own business will be rewarded.
I know and firmly understand how dang difficult it can be to give thanks for everything. It takes practice and it takes determination to change your life. When you feel yourself about ready to scream and give up, give it a second push.
Every living, breathing human being comes to some sort of road block in changing their mental attitude, their resistance to change and they have to give it one more effort, one more push ahead to ever accomplish their dreams. That second wind, that second effort is what makes your life different. Be willing to give it.

Do You Need A Nudge?
NEEDING A NUDGE
"A wiser person than I once said that humans have four basic needs.
One is the need to be nurtured. Next is the need to be needed.
Third, the need to be noticed. And finally, the need to be nudged.
Although I never had much luck nudging my own children, I've often
thought of a story about a small boy who could not be nudged to quit
banging a drum. Various attempts were made to do something about
quieting the child.
One person told the boy that he would, if he continued to make so
much noise, perforate his eardrums. This reasoning was too advanced
for the child, who was neither a scientist nor a scholar.
A second person told him that drum beating was a sacred activity and
should be carried out only on special occasions. A third person
offered the neighbors plugs for their ears; a fourth gave the boy a
book; a fifth gave the neighbors books that described a method of
controlling anger through biofeedback; a sixth person gave the boy
meditation exercises to make him placid and docile. None of these
attempts worked.
Eventually, a wise person came along with an effective motivation.
He looked at the situation, handed the child a hammer and chisel,
and asked, "I wonder what is INSIDE the drum?"
No more problem.
I agree that we sometimes need to be nudged. At times, we may need
to be nudged into healthier behaviors. Or maybe nudged out of
destructive relationships or patterns. Or simply nudged to think a
little bigger; to do or be a something more challenging and less
mediocre.
No doubt, that is why the motivational industry is so successful.
(And no, it is probably not true that if you listen to your
motivational tapes backwards you will become a failure. I think a
couple of you may have been worried about that.)
It seems to me that good leaders know about this basic human need to
be prodded, challenged and encouraged. They also know that the best
way to nudge someone is often simply to invite them along a path
that is more appealing than the one they've chosen. The best leaders
teach us to dream and tempt us to do more than we ever thought
possible. They challenge us to be a part of something great.
Writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery said, "If you want to build a ship,
don't drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, and give
orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea."
Sometimes all we need is a nudge to desire something magnificent.
Is this the nudge you need?"

I think we all need a nudge at times in our life. You may need a nudge to get up off of the couch and stop being a couch potato. Maybe you need a nudge to think about your life long dream and to stop stopping yourself from going for it.
A carefully, kindly placed nudge can give you just the incentive you need to push on with your life. It can also help you in your business development.
Do you need a nudge? Let me know by leaving a comment. Maybe we can help each other.
